Compiler error

Nov 15, 2011 at 10:43 PM

Hello,

I get the same trouble as describe in above thread here when running the command tool to generate WPF binarries.
I have download the bits compatible with x64. I am running Windows 7 WPF app.

IN system 32, I have the librairie D3DX9_29.DLL only.

I have tryied to pass though by creating a library project and add all .cs file and compile. it goes without error when when insterting Effet to an Image.Effect I get an error of:
" cannot create instance object of "FilnerNAme".

I guess it could come from first erro, any idea how to solve it ?

Hello Serge,

I think you need a more recent version of DirectX runtime (>= D3DX9_32, DirectX SDK December 2006). See http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=35

Hello Olivier,

The confilation with the command tools works ok but after referencing the output library into my WPF project and apply the effect on an <Image>, I get the error of "Object instance can not be created, any idea ?
